Mr. & Mrs. Enamel Box on Silver Mount, Halcyon Days

Halcyon boxes begin as a copper mold, then are layered at least 5 times with enamel, baking each layer in a kiln to create a finish that is hard, glossy, and flawless. The Halcyon artist then paints the design by hand, using special enamel paints. The enamel is then fired a final time delivering the beautiful completed keepsake.
